The latest news...from Little Punnetts Pre-School February 2010

Welcome to 2010!

After a slow start because of snow the January term continues with us looking at Where I Live and our local community, with trips planned to see the Library and Fire Station in Heathfield.We have recently been successful in attaining a substantial grant with which we have created a generous covered outside space which extends our outside play options enormously. This story will be covered by the local press in February so do keep a look out for it! Little Punnetts is planning a very special event soon. We are going to have our first birthday and like all birthdays we are planning to celebrate. More details to follow.At our first OfSTED inspection we attained a GOOD in all areas. The detailed feedback was a joy to read, with Ofsted recognising the unique qualities that our pre-school offers. I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Little Punnetts' new Chairperson, Fiona Buckman, who took up the reins at our last committee meeting. Fiona is a mum at Little Punnetts and brings lots of exciting new fundraising ideas for the pre school and a determination to maintain and build on the preschool's excellent reputation.
